<p>Well the New Year finally came and went and it is time to get back on track with life in general. I weighed myself this morning and only gained 1 pound over the holidays so I am very glad about that.  I now have to get back on track with exercise, I have rested my foot so will see how it goes when I start up tomorrow.</p>
<p>I love the saying: <strong><em>It is not what you do between Christmas and New Year&#8217;s, it&#8217;s what you do between New Year&#8217;s and Christmas that counts!</em></strong></p>
<p>It is very true a few days of extras is not going to hurt it&#8217;s when those few days turn into weeks and then months.</p>
<p>So for myself for getting back on track I purchased some digital food scales so I can really track what I eat, plus I opend a free account over at myfitnesspal so it will make it really easy to track my food, exercise and water intake.  Plus meet others who are trying to lose weight and maybe get inspired, hey or even inspire someone myself!</p>
