Sometimes these sections give advice about what celebrities do to stay healthy, or let you know what the newest diet it. These articles are not always accurate and can sometimes be very unhealthy. Another thing to take into consideration is that the tips may not ways be the healthiest choice for you. Many nutrition tips do not actually make you healthier. This is article will inform you about the most common nutrition tips and if they will work for you.</p><p>Some people say that you should eat in regular intervals of every 3 to 5 hours. This tip can go both ways. It is a good thing to eat every 4 to 5 hours, however this should be in small portions. If you eat a regular sized meal every few hours, you will most likely be eating too much and either gain weight or become unhealthy.</p><p>Others say that you should drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. This is very true, however these glasses should be rather large. Some people think that by drinking 6 to 8 small glasses of water a day they are getting enough water. Water is very crucial to being healthy, therefore the larger the glasses the better.</p><p>Sometimes people think that you should not eat any sort of carbohydrates. This is not true. You can eat carbohydrates; however you should not eat all the extras on them. For example, eating a baked potato is extremely healthy. It is when you add butter and cheese that makes it unhealthy. Therefore you should eat carbohydrates, just with sides in moderation.</p><p>Anther common misconception about nutrition is that is the label says there is little fat on it, it is healthy. In some cases this is true; however in the majority of the cases there will be hidden fat inside of the food that many people do not know about.</p><p>Many people think that if you eat any type of &#8220;junk&#8221; you are unhealthy. This also can go both ways. You can eat food that is unhealthy for you, but it should be in moderations. You should not constantly have dessert after your mean or unhealthy snacks between meals.</p><p>One of the most common nutrition tips is that if you eat only half of what you put on your plate you will become skinnier and healthier. This is absolutely false. Sometimes people that use this tip begin to develop an eating disorder. Even if that does not happen, this still is not healthy. The reason for this is because only eating half does not mean that the things on your plate are good for you. No matter what way you look at this tip, it is not accurate.</p><p>Hopefully this article answered some of the lifelong questions about nutrition. It is important to look further into some things that you read, because not everything you read is accurate. Potatoes are an outstanding source of potassium, a substantial amount of vitamin C and are a useful source of vitamins B1 and B6, and are also so easy to prepare. By themselves, potatoes are low in fat and calories. Do not wrap them in foil as this holds in the moisture and steams them. Instead, place them directly onto a baking rack. Turn them halfway through cooking time to prevent them browning too much on the underside. The secret to a great baked potato is the heat of the oven. You can tell when your potato is ready when a fork easily pierces the skin. If it&#8217;s too hard bake it a little longer being careful not to overcook or the skin will dry up.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Baked or jacket potatoes as some prefer to call them are so under rated as they can be delicious, complete meals if you bake them properly and have a tasty topping or filling. However, they can be just as delicious if sprinkled with salt and black pepper or herbs</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The perfect jacket potato is steamy soft and fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside. Cut the potato length wise and using oven gloves or a clean kitchen towel squeeze from each end to make the inside erupt out of the center or make a cross along the top and heap over your topping.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Toppings as the name suggests are something that you simply put on the top of your baked potatoes.
