Long ago since the beginning of time man has known of a method to promote health and wellness. The method I have in mind is called Ishnaan in ancient Indian scriptures and it refers to cold water therapy. It was a complete science and could completely reverse sickness and physical ailments.

You can use this method to your advantage. The effects that ice cold water has on your body are numerous. When you subject your body to cold, the blood vessels contract and the blood is inwards to the internal organs such as the liver. This action forces the blood to get cleaned by the liver which has exactly that job.

Then when you let your body reheat itself this newly cleaned blood filled with new nutrients will travel back and resupply various areas of your body. One of these areas is the spot in the back that you have pain in. It will get rejuvenated and a chance to get healed.

Ice has also been used, but normally cold water is used. If you don’t have so cold water where you live you can mix water with ice as this lowers the temperature which is even better.

This doesn’t happen over night of course but if you make cold water therapy a daily habit you can totally heal the back pain. Most back pain is caused by a pinched nerve, and almost all other times it’s caused by muscle imbalances or bad mobility in the spine. Some muscles are stronger than others and as a result the weak muscles tends to hurt. Most people have strong muscles in the front and weak muscles in the back. By stretching the strong muscles as well as strengthening the weak muscles you can cure your back pain.

Ishnaan or cold water therapy helps as it increase the blood and energy flow. This is both a temporary and a permanent cure if you continue doing it. A good way of strengthening and stretching the back muscles are by doing yoga.
